| TSY signed a contract for conversion of tanker “Viimsi”. 30.04.2007 |

On the 12th of April 2007 TSY signed a contract for conversion of tanker “Viimsi” belonging to the largest Estonian bunker company NT Marine. Several companies from Estonia as well as shipyards from Latvia and Poland were invited to a tender. TSY has won, because offered best conditions and had wide experience in range of services necessary for performing the contract. The main goal of the conversion which commence at 30th of April is to build second side and bottom structures, in compliance with the newest safety regulations. To achieve this, about 140 tons of steel will be used. Moreover, due to conversion, all major pipe systems will be modified and extensive painting work will be performed. The whole range of the maintenance and repair work will accomplished as well. |
